One of my worst habits is mindlessly going through the days, doing everyday tasks without reflecting or thinking, just trying to get it done as quickly as possible or avoiding doing it at all. As the days go on, memories of those days begin to blend together, hence the blend. And next thing I know, weeks have flown by, without completing set goals. I drew my narrative self portrait as one was mindlessly scrolling through social media post stuck in between two social media posts as a description to escape reality, without internalizing the post the person as committed. For this drawing, I used water soluble graphite, charcoal, ink and conte crayon.
